Rakan Muda

Last 2 weeks,I have been registered to attend one of Rakan Muda Club's programs, which was "Program Anak Angkat". I was so happy because I never join such an extremely good activity before. The programme was start at Friday. We leaved UMP at noon and went to Kampung Desa Murni in Temerloh. After an open ceremony,we were divided into couple and were 'given' an adopted mother or father each couple.I was so happy on that day.In that night,we were given a chance to become close to our family so that we can do the next activities together. On Saturday morning,we and some of the villagers were making a lots of lemang. We have been taught on how to make a lemang.I have gained a lot of experience on that day.At evening,we have been divide to 3 group. Those who will be facilitator to the kids, those who will handle the games and those who will decorate the hall for Hari Raya Celebration on that night. Then,on that night we have some fun and ate the lemangs we just made. Then,on next day,we attend another "jamuan raya" at YB open house. On evening,we back toUMP to continue our study.

HOW????

Do you know how to make a paper plane? Here are the steps on how to make it...
  1. Fold a standard piece of printer paper (typically 8.5 by 11 inches) vertically in half and crease.

  2. Open up the paper so that the crease is pointing up and fold two adjacent corners to the middle crease.

  3. Fold the point made in the previous step down to the crease so that the flaps are tucked under this fold. Now this should look somewhat like the back of an envelope.
  4. Note where points meet crease, 2/3 away from folded edge

Note where points meet crease, 2/3 away from folded edge
Fold the two corners created by the previous step to the center crease so that the points are about 2/3 of the way down the center crease flap.
  5. Fold at the green line, where the edges of the point meet the edges of the fold

Fold at the green line, where the edges of the point meet the edges of the fold
Fold from the green outline to the purple outline

Fold from the green outline to the purple outline
Fold up the point that has been covered in the previous step so that it secures the flaps against the crease.

  6. Fold the paper airplane in half so that all the folds made in the previous steps are facing outwards.
  7. The top, slanted edge (yellow) should meet the bottom, horizontal edge (also yellow) by folding along the green line

The top, slanted edge (yellow) should meet the bottom, horizontal edge (also yellow) by folding along the green line

Fold the wings down to the bottom so that the wings are perfectly aligned with the bottom of the airplane.

  8. Unfold the wings slightly so that they are perpendicular to the body of the airplane and form a flat surface next to each other.
  9. Test fly to get the feeling of how to throw the airplane by starting rather gently so that it glides along in the air, then experiment with medium to hard throws, and you will find that it flies very well indeed!

Bubble gum VS Chewing gum..

Bubblegum is a type of chewing gum especially designed for blowing bubbles. Bubblegum is available in many different colors and flavors. The most common flavor is the distinctive one also known as "bubblegum", which is a combination of wintergreen, peppermint, vanilla and cinnamon. Bubblegum with this flavor is traditionally colored a light shade of pink.

Bubblegum tends to be more viscous than standard chewing gum: this facilitates bubble blowing. Some brands are designed to be non-sticky so they do not stick to one's face.

Chewing gum is a type of confectionery traditionally made of chicle, a natural latex product, or synthetic rubber. For reasons of economy and quality, many modern chewing gums use rubber instead of chicle. Chicle is nonetheless still the base of choice for some regional markets, such as in Japan. Chewing gum is a combination of a water-insoluble phase, known as gum base, and a water-soluble phase of sweeteners, flavouring and sometimes food colourings.

TIPS TO AVOID CARELESS IN EXAM

....... Read the question slowly, being sure to focus on the last sentence which will usually contain the actual question.

........Read the choices carefully, keeping in mind that the answer is given and it is your task to recognize it.

.......Re-read the question while keeping the choices in mind. This will assist you in disregarding extraneous information.

.......First eliminate choices and the choose the answer that you believe is correct. If you are unsure between two choices, mark the question for review.

........After completing the first half of the exam, return to those questions you marked for review. DO NOT change answers unless in re-reading the question you realized you had missed key information the first time.

Things to avoid:

.....Speed: If you read too fast, you will miss key words such as all, every, best, worst, least or most.

........Lack of concentration: Being alert is the key to success. Be sure that you are well rested for your exam.

MOBILE

Do you have a mobile phone? I’m sure you have at least one. Mobile phone is now a very important thing to human. Without it, human can’t communicate each other, especially when there were far away from each other. Mobile phone nowadays is not only to call someone or messaging someone, but it has plenty of function such as access to the internet, Bluetooth, infrared, camera with video recorder, MMS(receiving and sending photo or video),gaming, email, push to talk, the new one is television and so on. There were plenty of mobile phone brands such as Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and so on. Nokia is currently the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones, with a global device market share of approximately 40% in 2008. Other major mobile phone manufacturers (in order of market share) include Samsung (14%), Motorola (14%), Sony Ericsson (9%) and LG (7%).These manufacturers account for over 80% of all mobile phones sold and produce phones for sale in most countries. Mobile phones generally obtain power from batteries, which can be recharged from a USB port, from portable batteries, from mains power or a cigarette lighter socket in a car using an adapter (often called battery charger or wall wart) or from a solar panel or a dynamo (that can also use a USB port to plug the phone).Formerly, the most common form of mobile phone batteries were nickel metal-hydride, as they have a low size and weight. Lithium-Ion batteries are sometimes used, as they are lighter and do not have the voltage depression that nickel metal-hydride batteries do. Many mobile phone manufacturers have now switched to using lithium-Polymer batteries as opposed to the older Lithium-Ion, the main advantages of this being even lower weight and the possibility to make the battery a shape other than strict cuboids. Mobile phone manufacturers have been experimenting with alternative power sources, including solar cells.

How to Tell the Difference Between a Mouse and a Rat

Girls are normally hate rat, mouse, mice or something that looks like that animal.I think there were cute and adorable pet, especially hamster. There were cute especially were they eat and play with their "roller coaster". Do you know what is the differentiation between a mouse and a rat? Many people are so confused about them. Here I got some tips on how to differentiate it.

Step1
The size difference is a major factor. A full grown mouse may weigh a few ounces where a full grown rat may weigh as much as a pound.
A young rat, while still hairless, is already the size of a full grown mouse, where a baby or young mouse is very tiny.

Step2
A rat will dig a deep or long burrow to nest, 3 feet or longer, whereas a mouse will generally not go any deeper than 6 inches to a foot if they dig at all, they would prefer to live between a wall, behind or under an appliance.

Step3
A rat is much more aggressive than a mouse. If you corner a rat, it may jump up and attack to get away. A mouse will generally freeze and back off in absolute fear.

Step4
The size of their droppings is another difference. Mouse dropping will range from 1/8 to 1/4 inch at best in length, whereas rats droppings will be double that size, in the area of 1/2 inch.

Step5
Common breeds of rats in the US would be The Norway and Roof Rat. Common breeds of mice in the US would be the Field and House mouse.
There are slight differences regarding shapes, tail length, snouts and ears, but again, are all related.

Step6
A rat will venture much further away from their nest to find a food or water source, whereas a mouse will usually not venture more than 15 feet from home.

Step7
A rat is generally smarter than a mouse. For instance, if there is a new food source in their area of transit, they may force an older weaker rat to eat it and then watch to see if he dies or not in case the food is no good or contains poison. If that rat dies, they will urinate on it and avoid it. You have probably heard that you may only catch rats once on a snap trap and then you have to try something else. With mice this is not the case, they will come back to the same trap over and again.

Step8
Both rats and mice will generally use the same route of travel on a regular basis, both being creatures of habit. Rats will leave more evident proof of their route leaving oily stains rubbing off from the sides of their bodies that will appear over a period of time, along a wall, entry to an opening or corner they travel, often called run marks.

Step9
As far as similarities, they both must gnaw on a regular basis. If not their teeth will grow too long and into their heads and could kill them. They are both responsible for the contamination of major quantities of food in the world by chewing through packaging or urinating on raw materials or the finished product which is then destroyed. Also, rats especially, are the cause of many electrical fires due to their gnawing into live wiring. Not to mention the diseases they may carry and transfer. Consider the bubonic plague for instance.
Step10

They both live in nests with others and have similar breeding habits, however a rat is much more cruel, I hope is the best word here. For instance, if a rat colony is already over crowded and food source is low, they will actually kill and eat new borns immediately so they won't effect their food source. I have never heard of this to be true within a mouse nest.

Now then,I hope I have give enough information about it..Enjoy yourself with them!

1-Find clothes on sale. Look for clearance sales at stores. Be sure to buy basic items like a long tank top, a basic t shirt, and at least 2 pairs of jeans.

TIPS..Come and get it now!

Since Muslim are going to fasting,I would like to share the benefits of fasting with you guys.

By fasting, you give your body the opportunity to get rid of toxins, to keep a sane and balanced mind, and to redirect your time to spiritual ends. By fasting, you don’t have to spend time cooking, shopping for food and cleaning up after a meal. Instead, you can use this time to meditate, read or anything else.

If you are on water fast (you live only on water, and no solids), it is beneficial to you since it eliminates addictions, any bad habits and unhealthy thoughts, besides also helping your palate recover its natural sensitivity to simple food. You now no longer crave for salt, sugar, fats and processed foods.

In addition, fasting helps keep the passions in control, checks emotions and controls the senses too. Not only does it purify the mind but the body and heart too. Fasting is also a time when your body can do its internal cleaning. In fact, it is regarded as a medical procedure, comprising of restoring homeostasis, strengthening the immune system and healing illnesses and disorders. It cleanses the respiratory, circulatory, digestive and urinary systems, destroying impurities all over the body and eliminates uric acid deposits.

Fasting also helps reduce the core body temperature. This happens when the metabolic rate and general body functions slow down due to a fall in the blood sugar level. At this time, growth hormones are also released, because more hormones are produced now.

Apart from all the above benefits, perhaps the most scientifically proven advantage of fasting is that it rejuvenates us and extends our life expectancy due to a slower metabolic rate, more efficient protein production, better immune system, and wider generation of hormones.

If you are on drugs such as alcohol, cocaine, nicotine and caffeine, you can fast to reduce withdrawal symptoms that often prevent people from letting go of drugs completely.

If you suffer from uterine fibroid tumors which give you pain and excessive bleeding, often a hysterectomy is recommended. But you can avert this by fasting: this will reduce the size of the tumor and subsequently bring down the pain too.

If you have a chronic problem of back and neck pain, you can fast, rest and exercise to improve your posture. You will find immense relief from these problems after a good and rigorous fast.

These are some of the many benefits fasting can bring you. Don’t underestimate its power. Believe in it and go for it!!

A GOOD STORY

There was one time a very young boy, who used to spend time playing by a tree. One day he got bored and he said to the tree, "I'm bored, I've played with these toys too many times!" The tree replied, "OK, you can climb up on me and play on my branches." The boy got really happy with this suggestion and he had a lot of fun playing and sitting high up, on the branches of the tree.
When he started school, he spent more time away from the tree, but one day he came back to it, and the tree was overjoyed to see its young companion, and it encouraged him to climb on, but he refused. "My clothes are going to get dirty if I climb up on you." So the tree thought for a while, and said, "OK, bring a rope and tie it to me, and you can use my branches as a swing." The boy liked that idea, so he did that too, and would come back every other day to sit for a while on that swing. Whenever he used to get hot, the tree told him to rest in its shade.
As he got older, and moved on to college, times became harder on him and he ran short of food, so he went back to the tree which he had stopped visiting for a long time. The tree recognized him immediately and welcomed him, but he was hungry and complained to the tree, "I don't have any food to eat , my stomach is cringing with hunger." So the tree said, "Pull down my branches and take off the fruit, and fill yourself up." The young guy didn't even hesitate, but jumped up and tore off one of the smaller branches and ate to his fill. Over the weeks, he tore off all the branches and ate all the fruit.
After the fruits had all gone, he went away and didn't come back to the tree. When he reached his middle ages, he came back to the tree and said to it, "I have been very successful in life. I have earned a lot of money, I have a huge house and I have found a great wife. Now I want to travel and see the world." The tree was now very old, but to help its long time companion, it didn't wait, and said, "Bring a saw, cut off my trunk and make a boat. Then you will see the wonders of the world." So again, without hesitation the man cut down the tree. The same tree which he had played on, ate its fruit, laid in its shade; he cut it down and made a boat. As soon as it was finished, he sailed away and wasn't seen by his people again.
One day, an old man, walked past the tree. It hadn't recovered from the time he had cut it down. He went up to the tree, but didn't say anything. He felt the tears coming down from his eyes. This time the tree spoke in a faint voice, "I'm sorry. I don't have a trunk for you to climb, nor fruit for you to eat, nor branches of shade for you to lie in. All I have now are my deep roots." The old man whispered, "That's fine. Tree roots are the best place to lie down, snuggle up and sleep after a long life."
The tree symbolizes our parents, and the boy symbolizes us. The moral of the story is that we make use of our parents like tissue, and use them all up, and don't even give thanks, but they stay with us till the very end.

Simple Ways to Prevent Stress

Stress is often lurking in the background when an illness strikes. Maybe you have caught the flu that has been floating around work and you notice that you always seem to catch the latest thing that is doing the rounds, be it the flu at work or the cold at your daughter's kindergarten. It could well be that you are stressed out and this has affected your immune system and made you more susceptible to these types of complaints. And while it is easy to take cough drops or an honey-n-lemon drink for the cold it is not quite so obvious how to treat stress.

The secret to treating stress is that prevention is better than cure. Staying on top of stress is the best solution to beating stress. The good news is that techniques for preventing stress are easy to learn.

Here are some simple ways to prevent stress :

Don't take on too much - remain realistic about what you can do. Don't be afraid to turn things down because you think you may miss out on a promotion.

Have some down time - allow yourself to switch off from everyday reality. Take on a hobby. Do some exercise. Play a game of squash. Go out for a meal and a movie. Have some fun, life is not always serious.

Treat yourself - if you have had a hard day, why not run a hot bath and spend a few hours soaking your weary body and reading a trashy novel

Keep in touch with friends - your true friends will look out for you. They will know when you are down and how to pick you up. Often talking to your friends is the reality check you need when stress is making you depressed.

Laugh - see something funny or see the funny side in something. Having a sense of humor will never allow stress to make you take things too seriously.

For people that are chronically stressed out take up meditation or yoga. These types of activities can help you to change how your body responds to stress and can help you to relax more completely.

Where people fail in combating stress is that they are not disciplined enough to follow through with common stress management techniques because they are lazy, get in a rut or don't believe the techniques work.

Or, worse still, they don't listen to their body when it is telling them that they are getting stressed out and never try to reduce stress. They don't listen, out of some sort of pride, or they justify enduring stress because they have a duty to provide for their family. Whilst this is an understandable reaction, in the long run they will be worse off and so will their family. Listen to the warnings your body gives you.
Have a nice try!!

TEST FOR YOU..

Can you notice how many strong idiomatic language that use to describe our reaction to slightly unusual events there?

Well, everyone burst out laughing,of course.Uncle Bill laughed his head off,and Auntie Fluer nearly died laughing. And you should have seen Mummy, she was in hysterics.Even Uncle Fred couldn't help laughing when he realized what the cause of their laughter was.The vicar was the only one who didn't see the funny side of things;completely straight face, stony face was.Mummy was still hysterical long after Uncle Fred had turned around, chuckling to himself, and put the matter straight.

So,how many are there?

INDIA and HISTORY

Do you know the story besides India? Have you heard anything about Bhopal disaster that happen in India? The Bhopal disaster was an industrial disaster that occurred in the city of Bhopal, India, resulting in the immediate deaths of more than 3,000 people, according to the Indian Supreme Court. A more probable figure is that 8,000 died within two weeks, and it is estimated that the same number have since died from gas related diseases. However, testimonies from doctors who provided medical assistance during the tragedy claim over 15,000 were dead in the first month and approximately 20,000 in total. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning of December 3, 1984, in the heart of the city of Bhopal in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. A Union Carbide subsidiary pesticide plant released 40 tones of methyl isocyanides (MIC) gas, killing approximately 3,800 people instantly. The Bhopal disaster is frequently cited as the world's worst industrial disaster. The International Medical Commission on Bhopal was established in 1993 to respond to the disasters. Two decades later, more than 100,000 people have permanent injuries, light or severe. The groundwater around the plant area remains contaminated, and the question of cleaning up the area is still unresolved.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_and_the_Deathly_Hallows#Plot

I just read the plot of this story..It is soooo interesting..Now,i can not wait to buy 7th the book.I hope there is some copy for me since it's already late for me to get one..For me,the most scary part in this book is when the author said that Harry will DIE! It can not be because Harry is the hero of the whole story!!
But then, when she said that Harry can survive,my heart is not pain anymore..
I was very sad when Rowling told that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the last book for Harry Potter series..:( That's mean,I will not keep buying Harry Potter's stuff anymore...Hu~

Hulaa~~

Helo...
Welcome to my blog...

It's all about FRIENDSHIP

There were two childhood buddies who went through school and college and even joined the army together. War broke out and they were fighting in the same unit. One night they were ambushed.
Bullets were flying all over and out of the darkness came a voice, "Harry, please come and help me."
Harry immediately recognized the voice of his childhood buddy, Bill. He asked the captain if he could go.
The captain said, "No, I can't let you go, I am already short-handed and I cannot afford to lose one more person. Besides, the way Bill sounds he is not going to make it." Harry kept quiet.
Again the voice came, "Harry, please come and help me." Harry sat quietly because the captain had refused earlier.
Again and again the voice came.
Harry couldn't contain himself any longer and told the captain, "Captain, this is my childhood buddy. I have to go and help."
The captain reluctantly let him go. Harry crawled through the darkness and dragged Bill back into the trench. They found that Bill was dead.
Now the captain got angry and shouted at Harry, "Didn't I tell you he was not going to make it? He is dead, you could have been killed and I could have lost a hand. That was a mistake."
Harry replied, "Captain, I did the right thing. When I reached Bill he was still alive and his last words were 'Harry, I knew you would come."
At the end of the story, what you guy and girl can conclude??? is there any humankind have some manner to make apply this story for real life??? Think about it... not only for you all, but also for myself... ^_^

It's a bedtime story....

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.
Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"
Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

So,what do you think about this story?
